Help Children, Youth, and Families Grow in Christ as They Share in the Life of the Church

• Guide and direct Christian formation groups for children, youth, young adults, and families with children
• Include younger members in regular worship services
• Plan special worship occasions for younger members
• Plan regular recreational and social activities
• Model an attitude of servanthood by planning regular service and outreach projects
• Supervise the church nursery staff

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS

• A lively Christian faith, demonstrated by participation in a local church
• Degree in Youth Ministry, Theology, Religion, Social Sciences, Education or related field
• Ability to be organized, a self-starter, energetic, and enthusiastic
• Knowledge of child development and family systems
• Ability to incorporate music into the Student and Family Ministry
• Ability to work cooperatively with staff, volunteers, and ministry participants

HOURS OF WORK AND POSITION TERM

• 20-25 hours per week as planning and activities dictate
• Weekends and evenings are expected
• The position is for the 2026-27 school year, with evaluation about future scope of ministry
• There is an opportunity to expand scope of ministry to full-time status
